Hygge - pronounced hue-gah
This is the Danish approach to living that focuses on being in the moment and embracing the feelings of warmth, simplicity and togetherness.
We are very proud to have recently started along our Hygge journey at Formby Day Nursery.
In the current climate, anything that focuses on our children's and staff's well-being can only be extremely positive!!
Hygge:
* building a culture in the setting that is built on love, kindness, nurturing and self-care.
* a nature led approach
* reinforces positive behaviour
* a home from home environment
* prioritising all staff and children's well-being and self-care.
